True story...I am running close to 33" tires...255 80 17, w no cmc...just some minor trimming of some plastic, heat gun action to the fender liner and a little extra + caster. It's very close, so anything larger than 33's will require some fab..."just" a lift should never be a solution for clearing larger tires. It WILL rub when you flex the suspension.

I don't know of any 4" lift that maintains factory ride quality....for any vehicle. Think about it... If you want a 4" lift, expect some fab and sacrifices in hnadling....it's science

 

I wish I'd known about adjusting the caster sooner. I did a CMC and trimmed way more than necessary before I learned where the real problem was (alignment).

 

Oh come on now. You can fit 35’s with a 2.5” lift. Just a bit of fender trimming and a cmc.
