I just bought a 2008 Tacoma. Crew cab/4.0/v6. Looking to put some pod lights on. I am torn between choice. I wondered if anyone has experience with these and what beams they run/how they like them. I am going Rigid. I am trying to choose between the D series/SS series/XL series and whether to go spot or flood. Use will be mainly for back roads/secluded areas/camping etc.

I wouldn't use spot exclusively, flood is probably a better beam pattern for lighting up roads and camping spots

You might want to wander over to the Lighting sub-forum. Lots of good information over there and the subject of pods has been discussed pretty extensively. The Search function will help you there too.
