Just buy a rigid harness, swap over to weatherpack connectors and your solid. A little more (i think $25) but they are solid

I just might have to go with the Cali Raised then... figured the Rough Country would be better, but all I hear is good things from Cali!

Do you have to cut that grill where the bar sits or can it sit behind the grill?

And do you have clearance to aim it downwards towards the road?

    Hello,

For that single row you would need to cut the bumper.

    https://caliraisedled.com/collectio...ota-tacoma-32-light-bar-lower-bumper-brackets

With the link I have provided it's our double row led bar that sits behind the bumper and requires no cutting.

Rough Country vs Cali Raised? I've been shopping a lot lately and it looks like that extra $10 for the Cali Raised is money well spent considering we're talking over double the lumens. For a few bucks more, get the factory appearing switch, too. My Cali Raised shopping cart is sitting at $442 worth of I can see you now, I'm just waiting to decide on a few other accessories so I know how many switches I'll need to mount.

I have the Cali 32" spot. The brackets and light fit well, but the screws are kind of a joke. I would have liked to see a machined thread insert in the ends of the bar. Instead the threads look like they were in the cast (maybe they aren't, just looks like it). I know it's hard to get in that space with real tools, but I felt the whole time like I was going to strip the threads in the bar. And that's with an allen wrench at difficult arm angles. After a while on the trail the heat sink weight of the bar allows mine to "pivot up" so the beam is a little high. Maybe a detented mount or better hardware would fix that. But man it sure is bright.

Check around. I picked up the rigid 30" bar with amber back lighting, rigid dual pin harness (pretty nice) and the OEM looking switch for like $330 or so. Only other one is rather have is the Baja Designs, but I didn't wanna pay double what I did lol.
