Light Bar. High Beam .

I wired my Caliraised Light bar with a switch on left drivers side next to rear window push slider switch...all fine and dandy but just little awkward to turn on at times while driving.
...I would like to tie in the switch to head lights head beam toggle to turn the light bar on , anyone done this ? Like to keep both if possible

Tap into the high beam fuse

 

Activating the light bar control relay is a low power draw so you can get away with just tapping the signal off the power supply into the headlight. The actual power feed for the relay needs to be on its own fuse. I have mine set up like this and it's worked fine for about a year.

 

Have the relay tap the highbeam power. Did it on my jeep when i put driving lights on it. Just be aware that light bars are not legal on the road and doing this pretty much makes it so you cant use your highs anywhere but off highway.
