Looking for some help to trouble shoot why my light bar isn’t working.

I installed the bar with a typical on off 3 pin toggle switch and decided to replace it with a led light bar switch that has 5 pins.

the light worked for about a month but now the switch doesn’t light up so the light bar isn’t turning on.
    Any ideas?

What bar is it? Cheap bars will burn out pretty quick...

Have you bench tested it to confirm if it's the light or the switch?

Could just be a bad connection or ground.

it’s a good light bar (dura series) with full warrant.

I haven’t tested nor do I know how to test for those issues

Never heard of a "dura series" bar. Do you have access to a test light or Digital Volt Meter (DVM) to test for ground and power? If you don't, since it's under warranty, I'd suggest getting back to the manufacturer.

Remains to be seen I bought the tires and wheels the rest came along
You have a open circuit or the switch has failed.

Do you have circuit protection is that open??

A Multi meter and Code reader are 2 tools one should have to work on these vehicles

Good! Start by checking for power and grounds - in that order. Sounds like you no longer have power going to the switch. Have you checked the fuse BTW?

I gotta ask a real dumb question.

You're using a relay, right? You're not wiring the light bar directly to the switch, right?

Yes the fuse is good. I’ll check to see if there is power now! Thanks
