light bar sizing

    I have an 02, 4 door tacoma limited and I am looking to buy a light bar that goes across the top windshield and I plan on putting on the mounts that drills into my doors. Anyone know the size of light bar that will fit that? I was thinking 42"...

    Depends on those mounts you got. Are they made for your truck? The mounts should've specified what length bar they are used for. Unless you got some for a different vehicle. Otherwise easiest way is to put them in place temporarily, jam them in the door jam maybe. And measure.

    But yes, 42" is the most common/best looking/best fit on our trucks.
