Light bar suggestions

Im getting ready to purchase a light bar but cant decide where i should put it. I was looking at either in the front bumper or roof one, but is it possible for one to go in the hoodscoop...? But if anyone has any pictures it would be great!

 

Anything is possible! Here's an idea where you can mount led light bars on your truck.

 

How bright is just the light in the hood scoop?! Kinda eager to see how bright it is and wondering if I should go with that

 

Installed a 30" Light bar in my front bumper (This one). I love how it looks and the brightness.

Removed the grill first


Measured out mounts and screwed them into the crash bar


It fit perfectly


Grill back on and we have light!


Headlights and fogs only


Light bar only


Love the look!

20" is going to be removed and sold with a 40" or 50" mounted on my PrInSu roof rack coming soon

 

My 30" will be in tomorrow, mounting in the lower bumper also. Probably add some mesh to stop crap from being thrown into it.

 

Y'all guys are killing me with the light bars. Hahaha I'm so tempted to get one but also need a new head unit for my truck also.....

 

I first got on the fourm and was almost turned off by all the people that were doing light bars. However I have not once seen any truck driving around with one so I figured what the hell.

What size light bar fits completely across/above a tacoma windshield? What is the price of brackets to install a light bar? Is the curved light bar better/brighter than a straight bar? just a few questions i want a light bar not sure which one though. Curved or straight. Any help pleases?

The curved bars are more aesthetically pleasing on the eye but don't put out any more light. person preference between straight and curved. You'll want a 42" or 50" bar. The one above is 42 because it goes between the roof racks. You could always take a measuring tape to the roof and see what size you like better.

Does Relentless make one for the straight bars? Curved seems to be the only option on their site.

I am not one to usually put cheap stuff on my truck but this seems like a heck of a deal. 50" for $99. A buddy at work bought one for his jeep. I'm waiting a little while to see if it last but it has a 2 year warranty.

Andrew 2 things.. You should show us some output shots of your led bar.
And are you using the xdrl's in the headlight filler panels?

 

Any idea where I can get a roof light bar kit for 2016 model ??
