I'm thinking about sticking some skinny light bars between my running boards and the cab. Has anyone done this before? Is it possible to tie the lights into my dome light so when a door is opened they come one and shine the grown? I think it would look cool but kinda tacky.

rock lights or meso puddle lights. The question is, why?

I put blue leds on my trailer because bouncing downcast light off the ground is perfect for lighting up a campsite without annoying neighbors, causing glare, or ruining your nighttime vision.

Most people run rock lights shined at their own CV axles for cool points. I think thats a "please look and/or talk to me" move, and therefore decidedly uncool.

    even better:

sell trash running boards for $200
briefly shine a flashlight on them

another option is LEDs on brackets, onto Sherpa rack facing down for lighting when needed

Harbor freight ones are cheaper but might only be white…

I don’t know if red is better, too dark
Or if any are dual color to switch
Toggle to red in certain situations sounds good just like red/white Interior Meso + MattGecko LED bed/camper lights

I’m guessing rock lights are for night wheeling
Lean out the window look down see the tire
    (Non running board activities)

otherwise at night it wouldn’t be visible with headlights only shining ahead
