Light bar wattage

im going to do the hidden light bar install. What wattage bar should I be looking for? I found a 600w for a decent price, or should I go lower?

 

That one light bar is 50 Amps, just make sure your wiring can handle it.

Would a 220 w be safer?

 

A single 600w could be safe as long as you wire it properly. Probably want to use 8 gauge wire. Use a relay that’s rated for 60 amps so you don’t run the 50 amps from the bar straight into the cab of the truck. But I have 2 300 watt light bars hidden in the grille/bumper, just gotta wire it properly
