Currently installing a 30" light bar on my 2017's aftermarket DV8 front bumper. I have a Rigid Industries wiring harness for this, and already put my Cali raised switch in the dash (left of the steering wheel where the little storage pocket was). Where is the best/easiest place to run the harness wires thru the fire wall to connect to my switch?

I plan on running more wires thru the firewall in the future, when I do a full sound system with 2 amps, and maybe more lights. So it would be nice if I have one hole/location in the firewall to use for everything.
Any other tips on doing the wiring to make it easier/faster would be appreciated, this truck is still pretty new to me.

I run everything thru the boot on the main harness that goes through the fire wall on the driver side.

Run it through the boot on the main harness like mentioned above.

Take a long, skinny phillips screwdriver and tape the end of the wiring harness to it about a 1/3 way down from the tip of the screwdriver; use electrical tape and wrap it tightly. Then drive the screwdriver into the boot until it pierces it. It would help to have someone in the cab area looking to make sure the main harness or any other wires are not getting in the way. If it's clear, then push the screwdriver through until the wires make it into the cab. Then undo the tape and pull the screwdriver out, while making sure the wires don't come back out.

Also used the main boot. It's tight, but you won't be adding holes. I ended up using a wire hanger to pass thru.
