Yep. The first company that can show me an LED bulb that will fit in an unmodified headlight housing, has a cut-off and beam pattern as good as a halogen bulb, has the same throw on both low and high beams, and will last longer than halogen bulbs, I'm on board. Until then...I'll keep my tungsten filaments.

I'm just running the factory halogens. It's enough for me, but the thread that @crashnburn80 suggested has a lot of good info.

its definitely good. my lights were fine until I got a "mild" tint on my front windshield. H9 bulbs have helped but I'm gonna do something else. maybe @crashnburn80 solution

If looking for complete plug and play (no harness, no HID or LED) your best bulb options come down to: Osram Nightbreakers, Philips Xtreme or Volsa +100s. I'm not as familiar with what is specifically available in H11 vs H4, but those bulbs are the top of conventional stock wattage technology.

LEDs in the headlights is ok. The problem is LEDs in fogs because they don’t have a good cutoff and blast light everywhere.

Your LEDs are brighter than stock but are no where near HID. After having both I’ll mever have LEDs and my HIDs only cost $75

Is a light blub just a slightly less pigmented version of a dark blub? :notsure:

Also, would a light blub weigh less than a heavy blub?
