I have 264,000 miles on my Tacoma its a 2002 pre runner v6 3.4 liter and I just got the timing belt changed along with the water pump for the second time noticing there is a light engine rumble when idling every now and then. All new belts also put on. Something doesnt feel right. It never use to vibrate when idling. I can hear the vibration also from the way the exhaust sounds. Can anyone offer any insight?

One cam may be a tooth off. Take it back to the mechanic.

Bringing it back to the mechanic tomorrow. I barely made over a bridge on my way home from work yesterday.

This is why you do-it-yourself. Dont have to take it to anyone if something gets screwed up.
