Light hookup for a simple trailer

    09 Tacoma TRD off road
    all I want is to hook up lights for a small 5x7 ft steel mesh trailer on my 09. I have the plug for brake controll etc. I don't need that. I just need to know how to hookup the brake lights.

    They sell light harness that plugs into tail lights at advanced auto

    2011 Toyota Tacoma Double-Cab
    Class 3 Hitch and Trailer wiring harness
    I used some pvc pipe and ran all my wires through it. I spray painted the pvc pipe to match the color of the frame. I used a T connection when it came to seperating the wires at the rear for the tail lights. I bought some thin metal brackets to hold the pvc pipe in place. Turned out really well.
