light in glove box?

Has anyone put a light in the glove box?

Annoys the heck outta me everytime i open that thing at night, i cant see anything.

I have some ideas on how i want to do it, just wanting to see some other ideas.

Two 12v wide angle bright white LEDs taking power from the climate control dimmer should do the trick. Just figure out a way to zip-tie them above, or go to radio-shack and buy the little back flush mounts and drill two holes to install them into the back or sides of the box.

 

how did you do that? Just a led light with a switch or what?

Where did you tap in for power? That is an awesome LED strip. Cheap too...

Got some on order. Got two 1 foot waterproof strips for under the hood too. Figured it would work just as well as some of the under hood light mods on here.

 

nice...i actually have a i think its like a 12 or 14 gauge wire fused running into my cab for my footwell, cup holder lights and my lights by my sub, so i just tapped into that.

 

I saw these as well, Did you consider these? They look just as good, maybe even better for the glove box than the strips.

lol i don't think they had come out with them when i bought my strips. that was like 2 years ago lol. anyway they look like the same led as the ones in the strips, but the strips have wayyy more than those, and you only have to deal with two wires for all of them
