I’ve got rigid IR pods, IR bar, and GPNVG-18s but haven’t done a kill switch. Good idea!

I have RNVG green phose how do you like the GPNVG? Thinking of upgrading to DTNVS white phose. To much coin for the GPNVG

This topic has been covered a lot of times here and ends up getting shut down by mods. Just FYI.

Interesting that the mods would care about a modification for off highway use considering all of the other shenanigans of questionable street legality on this forum.

I'm curious, why do the mods shut them down? I've only been here a little over a year now, and haven't seen one of these threads yet. Just wondering why?

Same I would be using this mod on private property with other people running NVG? Pig hunting with NVG is fun!!

Probably because it’s too much of a grey area and they’re being cautious.

    :notsure:

I’m not a mod, just mentioned it. Maybe how things are discussed or worded changes the outcome, but I’ve seen probably 10 of these threads since I’ve been here and all went down before they took off.

My Holden built 14’ Chevy Caprice PPV has surveillance mode from the factory where it shuts off all exterior lighting and all interior dash lights are barely lit...the police department didn’t turn that stuff off when they sold it to me at auction.

These trucks really like precise current loads as these are used by the ECUs.
I have read many horror stories when people start messing with existing wiring, even "reputable shops" lol. Adding a new light or a new circuit? No problem, just don't fuck with existing.
As far as the threads being shut down... they are because there are more illegal things you can do with NVG than legal and unfortunately, not everybody who posts here are law abiding citizens.

Yup 51k miles...6.0 LS motor 6L80 trans 2.92 posi big brakes heavy duty suspension handles like it’s on rails really fun to drive. I’m not a huge fan of GM but they did this one right. If I throw another 5k at it 650hp to the wheel not a problem. It’s a big roomy 4 door sedan.

    Can confirm.

    I like thermals.

Also im sure a simple set up can be done. If that fails good ole roll of tape always works for me.
