    First post.

Does anyone know if a kit exists to completely black out exterior lights. I'm aware it's not legal to drive on the road in that condition but this is for off road use. Something like an interupt switch that would cut power to front and rear lights
So that I could switch to IR lights.

There is switch on a rod left of the steering column. I’ve heard it’s called the light switch. Check the owners manual for details.

Are you trying to disable the brake lights?

    Im confused.

I'm guessing if you've gone through the trouble of installing IR lights you know your way around a few circuits. Putting a switch into the drl/headlight/tail lights shouldn't be that hard - but there is no one magic wire to do it..

I guess adding a separate switch just for those IR lights would be too simple? Then you could just turn off your headlights and tail lights as normal, then turn on your IR lights? Then you wouldn't need to buy a kit that would inevitably need a switch anyways?

Do Canadian models have lights that are permanently on or are you asking for a different reason?

    Oh look, another mod....

Shiiiiiiit. You need MORE lights when off roading. Lights, High Beams, Light bars, ditch lights, bed lights. You might want to see what is around your truck when you're driving.

Edit: Or are you using your truck for a stealth- Black Ops mission for the government? You can tell us buddy, we're all pals here.

This little buddy right here will do the trick for the fronts:

For the rears, we're gonna need to know a little more about this "off-roading" before we give out that solution :anonymous:

yep, drl run always in Canada, only go off when the headlights go on. You can drive around with indicator lights if you like but OP wants Tacticool IR night mission mode..

The few times I’ve been running from the cops, I’ve taken those brake lights out with my hi-lift jack.
