    That's what I was thinking. I know I've seen Volunteer FF's around here in rather stock looking daily driver's with red lights in the windshield and strobes on all four corners.

    Seems theres alot of hate for the hood scoop haha i am just looking for something that adds a little bit to the rig but not for everyday driving more for just showing off the rig to some buddies or other haters

    No hating on the hood scoop. However, putting in colored LED's for no reason makes no sense to me, IMHO.

    You're not allowed to put LEDs in your non-functional hood scoop until you've completely fake-chromed out the rest of the truck, added Autozone chrome spinner hubcaps, and at least 10 fake bullet hole stickers cover the back AND sides of the truck.

    haha well i can understand that and i think ill find some other places to put some lights, like behind the grille. I hate the chromed out look personally

    [​IMG] Oznium has nice 5mm LEDs in any color with leads. I did my door handles (inside) in blue. White would look killer in the scoop. Blue will get you busted. Don't forget to use resistors on the 12V system or you will fry the diodes!

    I have the fully functional 10 inch Rigid light in my scoop. it adds alot of light when driving the backroads or woods.
