New....been doing a lot of reading this weekend. Bought a used 3rd gen double cab short bed OR on Friday and looking for a bar to mount LEDs [basically in front of the grill] - I'm not a fan of the stealth behind the grill light mounts. Wanting to mount a pair of the new baja designs LP6s.
I know n-fab makes a bar but I havent seen very good photos or details of mounting. Looks like theres a decent amount of cutting involved.

Are their any other options? Any have experience with the nfab mount?

I want to know the same info. I found one person that used the N-Fab mount...but it is now discontinued.

I personally would choose the Avid because of the fog light hoops and it seems to have jsut a tad more bumper/skid type of protection than the other.

I did the 32 inch Caliraised LED bar with mounting hardware. Good videos on their website too 0EF0F42D-D9A7-4E69-BE54-3DC47E0458DF.jpg

    I made my own
It’s only attached on the lower frame, so it’s not as secure as I’d like it to be but good enough to hold lights.

RobP62 said you could PM him if you're interested in the N-Fab bar as he may have one for sale soon.

Thanks guys. I ended up ordering the Nfab one last week from autoanything - even called them first and they assured me they had it. Showed up today and it appears to be the correct one. its even marked as 'discontinued' heheh

I'm researched "out" - trying to find an LED front bumper mount that can be installed on a leased Tacoma (or any) without cutting factory parts. After sending a message to ZROADZ I just received the installation instructions and it looks like this is the one! No factory cutting. Maybe I should have asked in the TW forums before - has anyone tried this mount?

You don’t have to cut anything with the Cali Raised kit.

I thought I watched a YT where you had to cut some of the air dam? Maybe I'm getting that mixed up I'll revisit it. I ordered Cali Raised 3-switch plate for the cubby spot and relay holder. Hoping to incorporate the relay holder into the PowerTrays Blue Sea bracket I ordered. Thanks.

No, you just remove it. Some cut a small section in those “fin” things, so they can reinstall them, but most just take them out.

Perfect. I like the protection Cali Raised offers being behind grill. I’ll order tomorrow thanks.
