I have two guys in my offroad club that had LR arms break while driving on a weld. That scares the shit out of me no matter what they changed. You don't hear Camburg, Total Choas, or other manufacturers with that problem on the highway.

These are the things that need to be read.. No product is perfect.

Read ^. In any event, im not going to argue for one or the other, just making a decision based on the OPs want but at the end of the day its his money. If he wants to drop 600$ for high performance UCAs(which normally have 1.25 unis not the 1") for driving on the highway and out his driveway its of no consequence lol.

    Lmao...

Things have changed since then.. LR have updated their UCAs which you've owned but apparently you didnt install correctly then when someone calls out Camburg you're all of a sudden on the defensive..

If you're gonna be bias about LR UCAs just be upfront about it, dont dillydally lol.

It's the Green party advantage. Reduce, reuse, and recycle right :p
Looks like that happened right after they came out and it didn't cause a failure on the road. LR's have broken without warning of a crack (trust me, the guys I know check for cracks on the suspension and driveline before heading out.)

That's also the first I've heard of that issue. Looks like the shop created it, not Camburg TBH.

    So not exactly the same.

np, I hope things have changed for the better too. Although communication is one that is tough to improve on if the company has been around for more than 15 years

I'm still considering the LR product, but just because they say they fixed the issue doesn't give me confidence when people I know of in real life have almost died using their products and were refused a refund lol.

What the hell are you talking about I had a newer set of the LR UCA's they failed. The link is about Uni Balls not the (Ball Joint type.) Find me something recent posted bad about Camburg Ball Joint Type Arms and I will take it into consideration. Not some link from 2011 that has nothing to do with Ball Joint type. Had LR they failed and were not put in wrong, Gonna give another company a try that is all. Wow

So if you had two friends who had the LR product break at 60 mph would you not have the same doubts as me.

I've done a lot of reading. 99.9% of the guys who run Camburg and that beat the shit out of them far more than I will have 0 issues with proper maintenance. I'm not rah rah'ing Camburg. I'm just presenting what's out there.
