I'm installing my new light racing uca and have a question. There's a gap about 1/4" between the upper ball joint bolt and the spindle. Is this normal or do I need to push it all the way through so the upper ball joint bushing meets the spindle; because there is no way I can get the upper ball joint bolt to go any further down then how it is right now. Anyone have this issue? Photo included. What's the torque specs on the upper control arm retaining bolt????

I installed mine on Sunday and I had the same issue? I was going to call LR but have not had a chance to call them. I really didn't want to drill it out!

Mine had the gap. The taper on the bolt comes up snug in the taper on the spindle before the two surfaces come together.

Torque Spec for the UCA Long Bolt is 85 lbs. I guess I answered my own questions after all.

Glad I read this, I'm putting mine in tomorrow. Anyone know if there's a set spot to adjust the connection on the UCA( the part that slides in the groove above the tappered part)?
