Just buy the sliders and throw them on. That’s what I did and I still have stock suspension. Truck handles fine. Hits the bumps more and might have to go a bit slower but it will be fine till suspension gets upgraded. I just pounded the gnarliest road today with them. RCI sliders are crip. There all crip.

Do all sliders out there fit regardless of a cab mount chop?

    ...stuff
I don’t see why not. They do not attach to the cab mount and they do get close to the wheel well, but not that close.. someone else correct me if I’m wrong or if there is a model out there that does get affected

I only asked because SdHQ uses the fact that they work with body mount chops as a selling point

If I were you I would double check the slider length and fitment.

Some people have no issues with sliders that are a touch shorter.

Some people drag the drivere side of the cab because the slider stops too early.

Small differences in sliders will end up getting noticed eventually

This is true. Sliders, rear bumper, and IFS skid are the 3 that I would go steel (maybe LCA if you get those). Sliders are used to pivot off trees or rocks and that's a fair amount of stress. You also want to be able to jack on the sliders. If the truck drops on it, you have a lot of weight with velocity and you don't want it hitting the rocker. If you need sliders, it's just the way it is. Those 3 areas are ones I have hit pretty hard and I wasn't in the Colorado rocks. Sliders have saved me a couple times.

It doesn't, but some brands are shorter, like my RCI. I do wish they were a touch longer on both ends, but it hasn't been an issue...yet.
