OP, one quick thing to try is remove the square lights on the hood and see if that helps. Those definitely are not allowing for laminar flow up the windshield.

Yea, im sure every design engineer at every lightbar company recognizes the fins as a ‘stupid design flaw’. You should apply for the job since you know better.

Can’t let a stupid design flaw interfere with all the lumens for the mall!

It’s probably not the cooling fins. Probably more to do with the gap between the windshield and the bar. Did you think adding that big ass thing wasn’t going to have some effect on aerodynamics? Most light bars on the roof or “windshield” as you want to call it have a whistle

The mounting brackets are not solid. Just for process of elimination, wrap the brackets with electrical tape to cover the holes, the drive again and see if the noise subsides.
Probably not the cause but very easy to rule it out.

Unfortunately there aren't too many existing solutions for 52" curved bars. For the straight bars there are some solutions depending on the brand. Hate to agree with this route but best bet is to run a lower light bar. The Rago brackets fit a 30" bar below your grill very well.

Is the height adjustable on your mount. Might try lifting it just a bit. As mentioned by others its probably not the fins ( I ran a 52inch bar on my old truck before Taco), and a big one on my jeep; after adjusting they were dead queit. It is amazing what a little movement can do. Think of a whistle. If you don't put your your mouth on it right it does not work. Same with a light bar. Wind is hitting it just right. Might even try a bugshield on front of your hood as a test as they disrupt the airflow over the windshield pretty well

That's what I told her. I said, "Babe... that's damn near a full work week."

But she couldn't hear me over the 52" curved LED bar whistle.

    Lol

I think the ops light bar is talking to him. Asking him why he needs a light bar when he doesn’t do any night time off-roading. Or telling him it would be better quoted on a OR with a locker. But then again looks like he’s a first responder so maybe he uses it for that
