This may sound extremely silly, but is there any way to wire my lightbar to the lock/unlock light flicker? I want it to just flash like the light do. My friends F-150 does it but when he unlocks his trucks his lights just come on and stay on.

Ha I was wondering and thinking about doing the same actually. I'm sure it's possible. Maybe with a relay tapped into the flasher for the alarm, or something along those lines. I've been meaning to get a test light under the dash and test each wire to see which one it is. Then test function by temporarily tapping into the light bar wiring. Not sure if it'll cause any sort of feedback or not though when the light is powered on, back into the alarm wiring. A little too complicated for my electrical comprehension.

Since the "flicker" is with the turn signals, tie into them with 5 pin relay. Will only "flash" when IGN is OFF.

Intersting. So having the running light relay (in second diagram) pin 86 AND 87 wired into ignition is what allows this to happen when ignition is off. Hmm. I didn't realize you could wire those relays like that. Awesome. Going to be fun figuring out all my wiring when I redo it all using one of those bussman boxes.

So that's not gonna cause any feedback whatsoever? Still trying to understand it looking at the diagrams. Just gotta make my brain think harder. Ha. Some of that crap can get confusing as hell. I had a hard time figuring out how to use a 5 pin relay wired to some rigid amber led lights to have them turn off at night when my headlights come on(as they're too bright at night but good for dtrl's during the day).
