Hey everyone! So I purchased ditch pod lights for my 2015 tacoma and it requires you to trim the cowl a little for the under hood brackets to install. My question is what does the cowl do? Is it bad to trim it? And What will happen down the road by trimming that back. Thanks in advance.

it's a 200$ piece of plastic , so trimming should be minimal i would think
