Took two weeks, but I finally got my lights on today! I tried to remain positive because I still had a dry place to set my head and my kid had a blast on his 'vacation' to central Texas. Two things I learned though: don't take electricity for granted, and I'm going to buy a generator, freezer, and a window unit next season.

Glad to see you're back on the grid. Kids are resilient that way. When I was young, my family moved alot. I have alot of fond memories from those moves. They were like adventures.

We sent him with the inlaws to a steer ranch. He learned to feed a baby goat and work a fence. He's well on his way to redneck.
We had to stay behind for our jobs.
