Lights under the tailgate

I was wondering what length will be suitable to have light under the tailgate. Some say 48inchs and other say 60inches. Yes, I could go to the truck an measure but its a xmas gift for the husband and he always has the truck and running out of time so it could be here in time, Thank you again for all your help

 

C'mon, a GOOD wife would know this! I just measured my truck (21' TRD Offroad), and it's 59 inches wide. You can get a 60" and cut it if you need (the instructions even say you can), or you can get a 48".

 

I did a 48" sequential. Those can't be cut

 

Get two 24 inch strips so that you don't cover the spare tire access.

 

I think I've done pretty well, I placed 4 ATS on it, I've tinted all windows with sun band, I've actually found grill lights for it, Found a tunnel cover for it, got that fancy tail pipe cover, I installed the rain gaurds, I think I've done pretty well LMFAO. All that's left is side steps and possible a lift kit. I think he's pretty lucky to have a wife like me
