18 DCSB BBP sport owner with OEM wheels and tires. Once my factory tires are worn, I want to replace the wheels with a lightweight set. <20lb. 17"

I want a tasteful Tacoma appropriate style wheel. Ex. FN BFD, FN 6 Shooter, SCS Rays 10, etc...

    Any recommendations?

Also, how much do the OEM Sport wheels weigh?

i have the FN Six Shooters 17x8 and love them. they are around 22-24lbs iirc, someone correct me if I'm wrong. i like the look but wanted lighter wheels because i run fairly heavy E tires. great combo for handling in my world.

don't know of any 17" options under 20lbs... scs f5 and fn countersteer type x are both under 20lbs in 16" and close in 17". tire choice will effect weight more than the wheel. your factory wheels are likely in the upper 20's but I'm too lazy to look it up.

FN FX Pro's in 17" are 23.8lbs from FN Wheels. Almost 4lbs lighter than stock Sport wheels.. This is the choice I did for mine and these were the only ones I could find that were much lighter. I didn't find any that were under 20lbs in 17" size.

@okichewy1 I think Volk might have a 17" wheel that is under 20lbs. Dont quote me on that though. Not sure.

I agree. Volk wheels are most likely one of the lighter ones. Their TE37 are light weight forged wheels. Expensive though.
My Pro Comp 69 Series wheels are a little lighter than OEM TRD wheels by a couple pounds.
Not bad for the price also.

My hand scale is a little off, so add 2 pounds or so.
I estimated Pro Comp Wheel 69 17x9 weight about 23-24lbs
