Like an old swingset

My front suspension is squeaking. It sounds exactly like an old rusty swingset when the front suspension flexes over bumps.

Let's assume realigning the front end afterwards is not an issue. Is it terribly difficult to loosen the upper and lower control arms, grease the pivot bolts, and reassemble?

Any trick to that? Can I slide each bolt partially out, grease it, then smack it back in? Should I just soak it down with kroil or something instead?

    Thanks,
    Bugs

P.s. I had a frame replacement and I assume they didn't lube the new (ish) uppers I gave them to put on at the time so it's probably those, since the lowers came new with the frame.

If you've got stock design UCAs (not poly bushings) then all the mounting bolts should be (better be, or you got issues) static... they're squeezing steel sleeves molded into the center of rubber bushings solidly between 2 pieces of sheet metal. Lubing bolts will just mean exactly that- the bolts will be lubricated.

Your squeaks are either dry, worn joints (probably of the lower or upper ball variety, could be sway bar links too) or possibly torn bushings that are rotating on the metal sleeves. How long since the frame replacement? I'm assuming (although it could be just that) they used OE lowers, what kind of uppers got installed?

Lowers are oem that came with the frame. Uppers are low mileage take-offs from a third gen (identical to second gen) and stock. Frame replacement was completed in Feb of this year so 3-4 months ago.

They gave it back to me with the lowers not properly torqued so I went back for them to fix and realign. After that they atl hadn't tightened them properly and the alignment slowly went out.

It was after this weekend, performing the "how to do an alignment at home" process and tightening the lowers to 100 ft lb that the squeak started. Truck is better aligned now and doesn't pull badly to the right like it did or make thunking noises anymore, but now it's got the squeaks.

    Advice appreciated!

Check the sway bar bushings too. I replaced mine and the squeak went away.
