Read the part about "PM'ing him" regarding his price. Perhaps he doesn't know the actual value.

Bigger crock of shit post than any other so far.

Ripping off is selling them and never shipping. Ripping off is selling items that are in a different condition than pictured and described.

Ripping off is NOT being unaware of market values. People post things every hour for way too much money, do you see them? Are they ripping people off also? Or do they just not understand the REAL value? Send them a PM and HELP.

    Being a prick helps nobody.

maybe buyers and seller should both do some research on Craigslist regarding the market value of used suspensions? I do know I woulda been happier than a pig in poo if I'd gotten 9hundo for my takeoffs!! as a reference point, I ended up getting $300, not including the leafs

Maybe a simple PM like the one I sent hours after I said this thread sucks would be just as easy as posting here about pricing being incorrect, or wishful thinking.

As expected, OP wasn't sure how to price them and even said he's looking forward to being part of the TW community.

Again, I don't think it's that hard to be helpful and welcoming to new members. At least, it shouldn't be.

There is no expectations held that people who are new here know about suspension options and are self taught in installing them, or what the best all terrain tire is for their region, or what their check engine codes mean - is there? So why does there need to be an expectation that a new member has to be fully versed in the TW marketplace or spend an hour on Craigslist seeing what parts are worth in the real world? How about the expectation being that other members take 5 seconds to type out a suggestion to him via PM, per the rules of the forum, and provide him a realistic number?

Instead the expectation is 2 pages of shitty comments, with links posted here on multiple threads so others can jump in too. It's old. Really old. It isn't like this is Dave from Trends Auto or whatever it was, it's someone new to the forum who is in need of help. Instead he gets ridicule and told he's trying to rip people off for fucks sake!

Notice there's a number of heavy posters MIA these days, including me to a large extent? There's a reason for it.

    Welcome aboard, Dave.

That's quite a response to some sarcasm in a classified thread. I think TW is pretty friendly, especially to new members. Maybe I'm missing all the threads that are causing the full-time TW'ers to re-evaluate where they spend their time. I doubt you're going to find a friendlier internet forum.

I know I am beating a dead horse :deadhorse: but @PeeRunner is right. I as wrong to be a sarcastic ass about the price you initially put on your suspension. I have asked tons of questions and gotten help. I should have lent you a helping hand rather than be sarcastic about it. I am sorry and welcome to Tacoma World!
