Likely stupid question of the hour: will a 2nd gen ARB bumper fit a 3rd gen?

What say you?

I’m almost certain, probably not gonna fit. The frames are similar (the same?), but the body looks totally different in terms of fitment.

This bumper looks good on the 2G Taco, but is hideous on the 3rd gen. Just way too far of a protrusion. But, I want hood and fender protection from animals and ARB has my confidence for this and other reasons. So, I’m wondering how the 2G bumper might be adapted without getting out the cutting tools.

I realize I may have to just live with the ugly 3rd g version as a compromise.

No it won't fit. I agree with your take on the 3rd gen bumper but I will probably be getting one anyway. The upside is it only looks bad from profile view. From other angles it looks pretty sweet. Especially if your truck has a lift and bigger tires to balance out its bulkiness.
