I just ordered a “hidden”light bar and the Cali raised switch panel to replace the cubby on the left of the dash. I know how to wire the light bar, but want to ad raptor lights as well.
If I run the add a fuse, to a blank fuse receptacle, the raptor lights will be on when the engine is running correct?

Is there a way to wire in a switch to turn the raptor lights off if I so desire? Feel free to add to my very professional wiring schematic. Thanks in advance for any help.

A simple OEM style Toyota button switch would allow this. Basically just keeping it in the "ON" position when you crank it will allow the lights to come on with the ignition and simply clicking it "OFF" will turn them off whenever. Seems simpler to just wire them normally to said Toyota button and toggle them on and off when desired.

Would you be ok with having them on when you have your daytime running lights or headlights on, and just off when you have those off? Or do you truly want to separate those? Just a thought

I just tapped my raptor lights into the parking light on the drivers side headlight this circuit is already fuse protected and the lights come on anytime the parking lights are on. Purple wire is positive, white wire is negative. If you want a switch then you’ll have to send power to switch first then from switch to positive wire on raptor lights. If you want the lights to work when engine is on only then you’ll have to fine a circuit that is hot when ignition is on...the wiper circuit would be one to use with an add a fuse that fuse is located under the dash drivers side. I recommend not tapping into any engine management circuits. Good luck

I purchased a rocker switch from O’Reillys and wired the lights to that. I connected the 3 positive and 3 negative wires from the lights into one wire. Added an inline fuse to protect everything and then wired the switch according to the diagram on the back of the box. It’s basics just connect the wire going to the lights to one spade on the switch, then connect another wire to the battery or use a fuse tap to give it power so the switch works. Then wire up the little LED’s in the switch

I pretty much always run my drls. That’s I’ve read not to splice into them tho, so I figured I’d wire them to a hot ignition wire. That way they’d be on when the truck started but with a switch I’d have the ability to turn them off if I wanted.

When doing it like this make sure the fuse rating for three lights together isn't too high for each individual wire. If it is then fuse each light separately. A single relay can still turn them on if it can also handle the total current, otherwise a fuse and relay for each light. You can still use a single switch to turn them on.
