You were warned... lol It really comes down to how fast you want to get through trails and courses if you'll be on them as well. If you can go slow (lol like that really means anything), just a nice mid travel setup is all you need, but if you think you want to goose it and make good time through that stuff, don't do stuff twice - it'll be more expensive.

Yea man this is it right here. If you want to be king of the stockers, get kings and cruise. If you want to hit stuff at speed and enjoy the feel of quality suspension geo then go LT.

For what it’s worth, I know probably 4 guys in my area including me who started out with oem kings and eventually sold our shit for the real deal.

Kings do sell for a decent price on the marketplace though which is a plus if you decide you made the wrong choice.

Mainly like others have said, the dmz kit offers more travel. Also, when I did my conversion, the TC kit wasnt out. You always want more travel in the rear.

4x4 access cabs and double cabs have a factory telescoping slip yoke. If you don't have one, it would be a good idea to get one installed. The going rate was $350 or so when I checked as I was building my regular cab.

This is one of those times where it pays to be a 4wd man...should already have one like @Dalandser said.

    It has to have one

You can’t have a one piece with no slip

My prerunner reg cab has a weak little slip yoke up by the transmission - when I was planning on long traveling that thing it was suggested that I get a real deal telescoping slip yoke if I was going to romp on my truck by TC & Inland Empire Driveline.

@jeff b just email Tim a pic of whatever you have and see what he says - unless it's a regular telescoping one, then you're all set for sure.

I was going to PM you, but I guess you got that anti-creeper setting on lock. Shocks are already claimed, but I got fresh spring perches and the U-bolts should be good. Hit me up for price.

First get your set up working, shocks will need revalving, correct springs, leafs and bump stops.
I have the FOX DSC setup, super soft out of the box. I have the rear working really good and finishing up the front.
Have to do another revalve and going to 650 springs..
But be realistic, 9" to 10" of travel is only going so far, but can be fun...

The problem with a good stock set up is it just makes you want to go to the next level....
The next level includes a lot of welding, modifications and $$$$$$.....
