The guy was referencing went with the Giant 64 kit. If the TC kit fits your budget right now with that deal I guess that's alright. Just remember the video of the blue truck that shows the performance of the TC and the DMZ kit in the whoops and know what to expect!

I had to add a leaf to my giant springs. Even though he claimed they could hold a bunch of extra weight.

It’s perfect now with the extra leaf.

The kit is pretty famous for bucking, but it's all you if you want to give it a whirl. You could probably get most of your money back if you end up not liking it - that said if you can save up $1k you can go with DMZ. Doubtful you'd want to change from that until you link it.

That socal supertrucks video is a joke. Its just flat fire roads. Nothing that pushes the suspension even a little, and when it does it’s in slow motion travel at a relatively slow rate of speed. @sully1981 video actually shows the back suspension being used. His video is what the performance of the kit actually is. Not that garbage socal supertrucks commercial. You’re gonna believe what you want to, but asking for advice is silly when you do the opposite of it.

Edit: watched the TC video as well. Cool truck, great expo set up, but I don’t see a single thing in there that is long travel related or shows the kit doing anything you couldn’t do with a tuned soa setup. Notice both videos put little to no focus on the rear suspension. All the suspension shots are of the front suspension.
