Did you need to have a 2-3" lift for these wheels? (Fuel Beasts). With 17x9; -12 offset. Some sites say it is necessary for a 2" lift for wheel fitment.......?

I was lifted already so I'm not 100% sure on fitment.. I would imagine just like 35's they are doable just require some trimming. What size tire are you running?

I was only planning on running 265/70/17 or 275/70/17 tires. I'm lifting my truck before I purchase any wheels/tires anyways, just thought it was weird that a few places seemed to suggest a 2" lift was necessary for fitment. I am a noob when it comes to wheels and specs, etc.

I was only really thinking of doing no more than 2" in front. 1.5" in the back.

I ran P265/70/17 Toyo ATII's on 4runner trail edition wheels for a few months and didn't have any rubbing issues. Then I lifted the truck 3in front and 2in rear after that the 4runner wheels weren't cutting it I needed less offset for my taste.. so I mounted the 265's on Fuel beast.. Tires look a little stretched but not to bad.. Later I upgraded to 285's.. currently only running the fuel beast w/265's as my winter set Have a set of black rhino overland 17x9.5 -18 offset wheels w/285's hoping to go 295's soon.. as far as fitment goes the only thing I would image would be the mud flaps when turning under compression from suspension maybe.. if that were the case just removing the mud flaps would solve that issue. Fuel Beast only thing I mention to people who ask about them is. on my wheels at least, the coating Fuel uses seems to be pretty thin and will scratch easily. so if you end up getting them look them over before and after you have someone mount them for you..

Nice job, looks like a very clean install by a Pro!

Is that to give you some lift as well as a more solid off road ride?

I am not very knowledgeable in this area...

Yeah, I wanted a little bit more lift (nothing crazy), and was hoping for a better ride. Both happened with these parts on and the stock parts removed. It handles a lot better overall, ride quality is improved and more enjoyable, and corners better on the road now. Icon Progressive Add-a-Leaf(removed overload) helps a lot. Excited to see how it feels offroad when I go shooting in a few weeks. Bought most of this stuff off the forum via group buys or 3rd gen marketplace for good deals. Took me a year+ to piece it all together before install.

I deleted all the chrome except for door handles, I bought:
TRD Sport Black Foglight Bezels: $11 each
TRD Off Road Lower Bumper Valence: $132
TRD Sport Body Colored Side View Mirror Covers: $80/pair
TRD PRO Grill (Non OEM): $140
TRD PRO Grill TSS Garnish: $55

Hiakri Philips LED Bulbs for LB and HB: $90 each pair x 2
Aux Beam F-16 Bulbs for Fogs: $49 pair

I changed the blinkers too so that they light up yellow, but don't reflect yellow in the housing during the day. (Not pictured)

Took off Air Dam...changes the look considerably!

Here is a more recent pic with side view covers installed and lights:

How much was the ceramic coating? And I know some offer lifetime warranty, some say it’s a gimmick as there is no such thing, but still curious.

How long does it take to coat?

Does it cure immediately or do you have to avoid elements for a small period of time?

Nice truck by the way but now time to dechrome!

About 2g for the package, ceramic pro 10 year, coated wheels off truck, interior carpet & leather. 10 year warranty with an annual service. My guy offers free maintenance washes, but I’m not driving 3 hours 1 way for it unless I’m there anyway.

They had the truck 4 days, paint correction etc. drive home 3 hours after picking it up. For full cure, it’s been 2 weeks and my guy said it’s good to go. It’s garage kept & not dd, so I kind of kept it out of the elements, but it hasn’t rained here in a while.

Since it’s black, I’m keeping the chrome, but not going to add more like the Harley

I agree, chrome well suits black nicely...just not any other color in my opinion. Bump for more! Cmon guys! It's ok, the other trim owners don't bite that hard! Come out and play (post pics!)

Either, its up to you, if you keep all your chrome trim, then its not so bad, I got rid of all my chrome so I only have black or cement on mine.

Yes, bump! This is probably the smallest group of Tacoma’s on this forum! Even though you’ve seen one taco then you’ve seen them all lol, would still love to see what some have done to them...they don’t get much lovin (posts) around here haha...
