I really really like your truck too. Of all the 1st gens I looked at before I bought my truck I never saw the heated seats... then again, I'm from down south and there's not a lot of need for them here. Welcome to TW!!!

Wow I have a 2001 "limited" but sans that gorgeous leather seating-I got the leather wheel and shifter-whoopee:( I would love leather seats-good for you:) Nice truck!

A shitty snugtop, step bars, wheels, and vent shades... For now.
Since it's been pointed out that it wasn't a factory option, I have been blowing up Google trying to find info on the Limited.

All I can find is that it supposedly had "better" seats than the SR5, but nothing stating leather.

I found a few random threads that talked about a dealer in Texas that offered it through a local upholstery shop, but it never said anything about heated.

Was it an option in a 4Runner maybe? I had thought about swapping the seats out of my old '99 for 4Runner seats but ended up swapping trucks all together...

Selling my 96 Tacoma to fund the FJ80 build up.
Looks like it might have been owned by a Lexis tech.

I would ruine that interior in less then 3 days. Way too much wrench turing and parts hauling for me. I had a 1985 F-250 front bumper in my Acura TL (with black leather)a few days back. Lay pass seat back and hang the edge out the pass front window.

This is my daily driver, I have an Astro Cargo Van for work and hauling.

I sold my '85 LeBaron Woody Convertible, my '99 Tacoma, and a handful of old Jap bikes to get the cargo van and the Limited.

No car notes is a good thing, plus the van keeps me from having to drag my tools in and out of the house...

I have an 04 Limited D-cab with the TRD package. My truck is pretty much like the OP's, but it doesn't have the heated leather seats or the chromed wheels.

I've seen an awful lot of Limited 1st gens with leather seats...if it was a dealer thing, they did it pretty frequently.

And I really wish Toyota would have offered it factory in the 2nd gen.

If you spend an extended period time on TW you'll learn not to question the statements made by EnolaGaia about these types of questions. Its better than google. :D

Thats the truck I wanted, Glad you are enjoying it. I wound up with an 03 Limited, no leather but has the 18" BBS TRD Wheels which I'm probably going to take off. 18" 60s on a 4WD ain't for me.

I've always wondered what those switch blanks were for... Mine has tons of them everywhere. But if there's a blank there, wouldn't it be a factory option?

I'm not sure... mine has a few blanks as well.

Does anyone know what made a Tacoma a "Limited"? What all was in the option bundle?

A week and a half in, and I LOVE this truck as much as my old one...
