im building my system upgrade on paper for now. i dont like how the double dins and the single w/compartment look, so i want to stick with my factory head unit. instead of me taking my dash apart just to see, could any of you that has taken theirs out tell me if the factory stereo has line outs/RCA's? i will be running it all through a JL audio CL441DSP "processer", 2x JL Audio 10w1's, 1 Rockford P300-1 for the subs, and 1 Rockford P400-4 for the mids and highs (which i havn't decided on yet).

No, the factory radio doesn't have line out's but if you use the processor you will just use high level(speaker wire)inputs to the processor and you will have RCA outputs from there. If you don't use the processor you can use hi-lo adapter to do the same thing but the signal will not be as good.

I know it won't sound nearly as well, but how bad is the stock deck EQ curve just outputing it to the high level inputs on a 4 channel amp? I guess I could try as I don't plan on getting the processor right away (but JL CleanSweep is in the plans). Is it only at high volumes it cuts down the bass ect?

FYI I just ran a Navone LOC off my stock HU using both a scosche reverse and standard adaptor to a 100X4 amp. After deadening the doors and console I don't need to turn up the volume so high only 15-35 range. I don't really need the cleansweep anymore because it sounds great and I still get great base at those volumes with 6x9's up front. I did put 6 1/2 in rear though (cut panels) and fills out much better then crappy celing speakers - which I just terminated behind the dash.
