has Anyone done this to the inside of there truck? im thinking about doing it, my carpet in my tacoma is pretty trashed from the previous owner. i think it would add a pretty good look to it, and be easier to clean and maintain.

Also i have some sort of leak in the flooring on the passagers side of the truck, i think i might have a rust spot or something because i got a recall on my truck but it didn't meet the requirements :( so i figured since everything was up i could weld in a new place or just fix the spot. anyone else have this probably on a tacoma around the same year or 98? any tips if so?

im doing it soon, just busy with other mods right now...

i got a buddy that did it in his truck and just for the sound deadening alone it was worth it to him, and he left all the carpets out and just sprays his floors clean with a hose

wow does it really help that much with the noise level? does it look good? i imagine it does look pretty slick, as long as its the black colored one.

yea i was wondering about that, what would you do with all the wire and cables? would you just line over them or what? or would they be exposed? cuz in that case it sounds like you need to put all the electrical down before you line it

No, don't do it. Are you really gonna spray out your truck with a garden hose? It's not a Jeep or an old FJ. There is still a lot of electronic stuff you don't wanna get wet.

    Check this out http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/95-9...ptZMotorsQ5fCarQ5fTruckQ5fPartsQ5fAccessories

You can get brand new custom fit carpet for around $100, which is way less than you would spend trying to Line-X it, and a lot more comfortable.

I was kicking around with the same idea for mine. All the wiring I'd have to deal with makes that a nogo. Thanks. :)

Thanks to dustinuhls for the link to the carpet too.

I changed the carpet on my old truck before I sold it and made an extra $1000 b/c the interior was "so nice".
