Yes, but only do it if you're gonna post pictures up.
How is your current exterior? If your paint is currently good I would hold off on doing it until it starts looking like crap

Fox 2.0 Coilovers in the front and Fox 2.0’s in the rear, Total Chaos UCA’s, Al-lpro expo leafs, K&N cold air intake, TRD headers,Magnaflow catback exhaust,URD short throw shifter, switched out my 60/40 bench seat for some Tacoma Limited seats, Replaced the vinyl shift boot for a leather one, completely soundproofed the cab w/ Frost King. Replaced stock radio with a Pioneer AVH series head unit. Focal component system w/a 10" sub powered by 2 Alpine amps. Weathertech floor mats. Line-X'd the bed. SCS Ray 10’s, Installed an A.R.E. MX series camper shell. All-Pro Apex front bumper w/ All-Pro skid plates all the way back to the Trans. Low Range fuel skid plate.
There is a YouTube channel called Jailbreak overland and he Linex’d his Landcruiser. It does add some significant weight to your rig. Once it’s on, it’s on for life. I would say the only reasonable answer for Linexing your truck is if its specifically used for Overlanding where your going to rub on branches and scrape your truck up.

I remember seeing my 1st pics of a lined truck, I'd thought it didn't look good. Then I saw my 1st 1in person, and have seen 2 ir 3 since then. Not looking good was a very nice way of putting it. Looks like ass from 100 yards would be more accurate.

Lining your truck to protect the paint from scratches is a lot like soaking your food in diarrhea to keep people from eating your lunch.

Nobody (statistically) keeps their vehicle forever.

I have seen a few tacoms with that, it looks alright but might be costly to do the whole truck
