Golf balls are not smooth and have excellent aerodynamics.

The smooth body has nothing to do with aerodynamics. The shape is what matters. A rough or uneven surface ^^like a golfball^^ actually helps in aerodynamics. I've built a few sand drag quads and it's been proven that on the intake, a rougher surface flows faster and better with less turbulence that a smooth surface.

So we're back to the negligible 80 lbs.

I had a problem with dirt getting in my Line-X'd bed on my previous truck so I took the power washer and found a reasonable setting that got it back to Black a couple times each month. Probably can apply the same thought to his Line-X.

I still don't know if I'd do my own truck, mainly because I like my magnetic gray metallic so much, and I've got an OME lift+rims+tires to save up for before I think about something like this. However, most of the concern/nay-saying in this thread seems to be conjecture.

Rhino-shine. It works great, I have used it on bedliners on my other trucks. I didn't read all 11 pages so my apologies if this has already been mentioned. It can be found at Rhino liner install shops, about $15 for a bottle.

Looks great! I've seen a few ghetto rattle can bedlinered trucks around here, but looks nothing like yours. Very nice

The product that was sprayed is called Line-x premier the. It is top coated with a uv resistant paint. It will not fade for life. If it does they will respray.

The UV top coat that is applied makes it more like paint. It washes off easily.

I have not lost any MPG. I still get the same 16-17 I have always gotten since my lift.

I agree. Also line-x can color match to any color. All you need is the paint code.
