Since there are so many people out there who have experienced this problem and so many dealers that refuse to help their customers, I thought it might be a good idea to compile a list of dealers who were helpful in getting this issue resolved with the least amount of BS in order to help the rest of us out here who are getting screwed...

If you have had a dealer change out either the bad driver side diff bearing, or the whole diff itself, Please post in this thread :
    - dealer name and location
    - what was done
    - approximate date when this was done
    - if this dealer sells lifted tacomas or installs lifts for their customers

    So far we have:
    -Tri County Toyota near Limerick,PA
-Newark Toyota World in Newark,DE ( sells lifted trucks and installs lifts)
-Reno Toyota ( I'm assuming in Reno NV)
    -Champion Toyota in Austin, TX

    Keep the info coming!!

I will try to update this thread as often as I can, but hopefully we can get a good list going of mod friendly ( and HONEST) dealers to turn to when we have major problem.

    Thanks guys!
