Is there a list of needed tools for the basic work on say my 2012 Tacoma?
New here, did some looking and did not see any.
Moved over from a 3/4 4x4 Diesel Dodge, so everything is smaller but needs metric.
Just thought it would help to have an upfront list if there was one and make sure I had in the truck all the wrenchs for Oil, diff, Transfer, brakes and anything else people find a need for.

    Any thoughts?

There are write ups for most of the routine maintenance on the 2nd Gen, look up top -> Mods & Tutorials -> 2nd Gen How To's

If you have a set of metric sockets, you're good to go for most of the basic stuff. The front diff requires an allen wrench key and some of the bed bolts and other bolts are torx head but nothing you'd need to remove for basic upkeep.

Flex head metric wrenches. Metric sockets. Breaker bar. Maybe a press for your wheel bearings lol.

I got the tools for sure, 3-4 ball joint presses and a 20 ton press.

On the diesel I always had a door pocket that had all the normal tools to use for oil, dif, Trans, Transf, Fuel and oil filter.
I guess I will look over all the different posts and links for sizes.

Just made it easy, to not even open the shop and I could check or change anything.
Lack of room in the Tacoma I will not carry all the extra oil but still have the tools and filters.
