Good deal for you. People can list their vehicle for whatever they want. That can be a negative sometimes because some people think, well if this person has it listed for XYZ I can probably get the same or more. However people don’t understand that most of the time it doesn’t sell or that the one listed is in way better condition than theirs. Then there are people that overprice everything to work their way down but say no lowballs. It’s the name of the game and it takes two to play.

Most of the vehicles I’ve sold including motorcycles I’ve got asking price or for a few hundred less than asking. I alway spend time being very descriptive in detail so the buyer knows what they are getting and to sway away 100’s of questions. I also include a lot of detail photos, from a far and up close.
One of my pet peeve is looking at a listing that is so vague, lack of photos and or descriptions.

In retrospect, do you know what impressed people the most?...my "clean enough to eat off of" engine bay.

I've always been one of those people that spritzed my (stone cold ONLY) motor with Simple Green and lightly rinsed it off before washing my truck. Needless to say, the engine bay is spotless. The smog station, potential buyer number 1 and actual buyer all commented how clean it was!!! I KNOW the look of the engine bay "closed the sale!"

    :)

    Good luck!

Mileage was roughly 184,370, I ran Castrol Extended Performance 5W-30 with a Fram Ultra filter and changed the oil every 5,000, per the owners manual.

Yes, it was an SR5 and had intermittent wipers.

Too many posts on other sites where a seller lists the mileage and a one liner about how good of shape it is in.

Thanks Ed. Did you buy Simple Green just at your typical auto parts store?
