So this is my Second 3rd Gen DCLB SSM Sr5 the only difference from my first (2017) in the second picture spec-wise, is that one was a 2wd.

My 2021 I just picked up a 3 months ago out here in California for MSRP, decent enough deal all things considered in this market. Sold my 2017 for a decent price. I got about 3K miles on it as it is my Daily. I only went for a 4wd this time really for re-sale, I am sure this one will stay a highway queen like the last one. I am loving these black wheels same style as the last ones but the black gives it a way better look. I had just put these same Tyger Auto Running Boards on the last one before I sold it. Got them for $290 both times. I am loving the adjustable height on the driver's seat and the Apple Car Play and Android Auto. At first I was a bit down that I didn't get those other wheels that some of the Sr5s get that are black or were gun metal prior to the refresh but I am loving these now. I think she will stay stock as the last one did other than maybe a TRD Pro grill and TRD Pro wheels when these tires need to be replaced. Tried to get a TRD Off Road but markups were crazy high out here in Cali some going for 52 and once you factor in Fees and Taxes, might as well get a pretty loaded full-size pickup.

MPG isn't noticeably different 22-24 mpg 80% freeway 2k miles on the odometer, the same mpg as my last 2wd. Got 24.8 MPG 130(Measured at the pump) mile all freeway round trip when I had 400 miles on the odometer

On my last 2wd I managed about 26.8mpg on all highway trips a couple of times once it was around 20k miles

Another reason I bought this one was minimal add ons from the dealer, port, or manufacturer.

Just the Tacoma all-weather floor mats and the Tacoma OEM sticker in the tailgate(~$240).

Was thinking of grabbing a maverick, love the size and proposed mpg of that thing also price is legit(markups are not though but I guess is expected with freshly launched vehicles but the "supply chain issues" certainly add to it) but hey what can I say I love these Tacos, I love my Sr5 Tacoma!

STILL GEAR HUNTS(though maybe not as bad but still there)

This is the 2017 I sold
