Went to Moab for Rock Therapy last weekend, had a great time with all the great people that made it out there. Here’s a picture dump

Question about your Archive equipment: their website claims that you need at least a 1.25 spacer to clear the shock body. What size spacer/wheel BS do you have? There appear to be no rub marks in any of the pics you've posted.

    Also, sub'd

I have 3.5” BS and no spacers. My tires rub the shock body at full articulation just enough to make rub marks, but I have never felt or heard it. My guess is that with 285s it wouldn’t rub at all but the 315s are wide enough to touch

Thread has been as dead as my schedule (tomorrow is work day number 19 of the last 20 days, thank god for thanksgiving giving me a day off) so I figured I’d throw out a droopy pic. Also finally decided to measure my lift for shits and giggles. Turns out I am sitting at stock ride height in the front and 2” of lift in the rear (with my typical 200lbs of random stuff in the bed)

Not sure if I’ve even ever posted about this here but: with the generous help and guidance if @Ripcord I am building a wedge style camper for my shitbox. I welded a couple pieces of the frame about 3-4 months ago, and life did what life does and it sat in my garage on the jig until day before yesterday. The main structure of the frame is complete and all surfaces that get panels are ground flat. Fingers crossed that my buddies over at Sherpa Equipment Co. will let me commandeer their router to cut out the side panels, and maybe even floor and roof tomorrow. If so, then it will be a truck filled day as I plan to finally go to an exhaust shop to have them reroute the crossover pipe, as well as route the tailpipe up and over the axle and dump below the bumper (currently dumps down directly in front of the rear axle and makes my head spin as I drive along). Then I’ll cut the panels and start drilling holes in the camper frame. Here’s some crappy photos that I threw on my IG story, which is where I document this kind of stuff more often (handle is noah_michelson):
    E9B9C7C3-1894-443F-8BD5-1621EBF7F270.jpg
frame is mostly complete, just needs diagonal tubes which I will weld in once I have weld nut locations determined by the side panels547893DB-0DB8-4DA3-953F-FC54603D1A55.jpg
Shark fin is gonna get a good amount cut off. The only lowpro fin I’ve seen available is like $300 so I’m just going to do it myself because that is INSANE.2249E5C2-E7C7-435D-88DD-12009B55F3E5.jpg 75FA94CE-22EB-49BC-93BE-2EFEC1F8965A.jpg

I think 2nd gen a 3rd gen shark fins are the same. Not 100% sure but they look identical close up. Well late 2nd gens at least, early 2nd gens had a different small antenna there that is not compatible.

    Good luck on the build!

That’s how I feel about the exhaust work I had done this morning. Crossover tube routed behind the tcase to gain about 1.5” of ground clearance at the lowest point of the truck. Plus the exhaust routing to the bumper completely got rid of my nasty drone. Here’s pics:
Note that the tip was cut back another 4” after the picture

Hawkers Automotive and Muffler on 34 in Loveland. I called them at 7:30 and showed up at 8 and they pulled the truck right in. I believe they charged $80 for that portion

Thanks! I would definitely recommend them, would be an easy location to swing by before or after you get the new wheels mounted
