Shit is it not fixed? This is a legitimate question haha. Did you see me driving and it’s all messed up?

I threw a new on in on the passenger side and did some body work to get it fitting on factory mounts. And the drivers side is tie wired in so I figured it was good to go lol

I appreciate the heads up! I’ll have to take a closer look and figure out what’s wrong. With my luck it is not just a bulb haha

Believe it or not, I actually did something for my Tacoma today. My neighbor had some spare 2nd Gen LCAs laying around, so I pressed the bushings out and will press new 3g bushings in. If you have access to a porta power, this is super easy. Took about 30 mins to get all 4 out

It’s my roommates, but I’m sure he’d let you borrow it. What are you needing it for?

Fair enough. If they are off the truck you’re always welcome to do them here, if not let me know when you want it and I’m sure you can borrow it

They are off the truck. Spare set. I can definitely come to you and just knock it out if you don't mind me using your driveway to consume a beer along the way.

Wouldn’t mind that one bit. I have any beer you want, as long as you want coors light

I am not. I’ll have to go through the first post here and update some stuff. After going through my 3rd set of ball joints on those I looked for other options. Each set lasted me less time than the one before, and that seems to be a trend with those arms. I know a lot of people who are getting play in them very quickly these days. Either material quality or QC must be worse over there than it used to be. I now have a set of mid Atlantic Offroad billet upper control arms. I’ve been happy with them so far

Dealing with the same thing with mine. Was wondering if it was just me or if its common when actually wheeling with them

Well shit. I was going to swap the spc back on with the new xaxis bearings.... Now I'm reconsidering just swapping in new uniballs to the all pro arms I have on it.... Probably the same amount of effort to do either....

Been a while since I was on here. Either going to start filling this thread or start a new one for the next project. I went to Sand Hollow last month, and had a blast wheeling the first couple days, and riding along the next few. I found the limit for how much oil a 3.5 can drink from the PCV. Uncle Rodney is knocking, and its time for an engine swap. I am picking up a 6.0L LQ4 with 180k out of a 2002 Denali. Already grabbed a 4L80e and NP205 to toss behind it. I am usually really bad about taking pictures and documenting what I do, but this time I will try my best, as I have only found one thread for an LS swapped 3g, and there isn't a lot of info in there on how it was done and what still works in terms of interior and creature comforts. I am lucky to have the help of someone who has done this swap in a 2g, as well as a vehicle electrical/wiring guru. First step will be rebuilds and upgrades to the LQ4/4L80e/NP205, which I hope to start on in the next week or two. Current time frame for the actual swap is rough, I would like to have start pulling apart the tacoma the first week of January, and worst case driving in April. Anyone who sees this, let me know if you think I should start a thread for this, or just update here

Here is a good place, not a whole lot of action in the 3g build pages. Stoked to see an LS swap. Picks and useful info are always welcome and appreciated.
