The bumper is on! didn't get a chance to take many pictures since we ran into a couple issues and had weather rolling in on us, but here is what I got. Took a grinder to the truck for the first time, and it went better than I expected, so I just kept chopping away. RCI forgot to include the relocation brackets for my power steering cooler, so we made our own. I'll be stopping by their shop to pick up the brackets and discuss fitment adjustments hopefully some time this week. got everything wired up, but for some reason the pods are not turning on with my fog switch. This issue will be addressed when I take the bumper off to fit it to my light bar. bumper prep.jpg Screenshot_20180319-092410.jpg test fit.jpg 20180318_153948.jpg 20180318_153954.jpg

The cuts look good! :sawzall: I like to use automotive trim to give it a little cleaner look, but I gotta say that RCI bumper looks amazing!:fistbump:

Thank you! I have some adjusting to do and probably cutting slightly higher but I do plan on using automotive trim in the end

Took a trip to Metberry Gulch with a couple friends last weekend. First trip out with the bumper installed, definitely loving the new approach angle 20180325_114915.jpg 20180325_114944.jpg 20180324_182744.jpg

Here's some pictures from a recent trip out. First real shake down with the 886 coils and the 1.25" spidertrax. Gotta love having some friends who are super into photography 2018-04-15_10-26-11.jpg 2018-04-15_10-27-23.jpg 2018-04-22_09-28-56.jpg

4crawler.com the site is super old and tough to navigate but the shipping was fast! I really like them, I have mine set to 1.5 inches and it has made long trips much more comfortable, and I'm only 5'10" so it gives me a slightly better viewing angle when wheeling

Did u gain any lift after the 886 coils with the bumper compared to the 887 coils?

I got 888 coils now with a rci bumper and thinking about switching to 886..

Oh yeah the 886 is a huge difference from the 887s. I know the 888s are the medium duty (I believe they are the same spring rate as the 887s but they are slightly longer, someone correct me if I'm wrong) and the 886s are the heaviest spring rate OME offers. If you don't have a winch in your bumper they will probably ride pretty stiff

A buddy of mine picked up a RTT from the 90s last week and wanted to test how waterproof it is, so we decided to camp last night. Left home in the rain, drove high enough that it turned to snow, and woke up to well over a foot of fresh powder! Screenshot_20180503-190321.jpg IMG_20180503_105621_374.jpg 20180503_081027.jpg

Finally got around to adding my 25" extreme LED single row light bar. Problem was that RCI only offered the bumper with a cut out for a dual row 30". Nothing that a grinder and a friend with a welder can't fix.2018-05-22_01-26-36.jpg 20180521_150058.jpg 20180521_150117.jpg

Picked up a set of slightly used 35/12.5/r17 KM2s that were siped. Today's prep was pulling front fender liners and hammering my pinch weld flat. In the next couple weeks I will be mounting the tires, adding SPC upper control arms, and a safari snorkel to fix my currently open air intake. Once the tires are mounted I'll do a cmc and trim my fenders where it's required. I'll be working the rest of the week but stay tuned for updates this weekend!
