Hey All this is my current setup

    Alpine ILX-259,
JL Stealthbox w 10TW3 powered by
    JL XD600
2x JL 650-x (front and rear doors)
    Subaru Kicker Tweeters

my thoughts being to Sound Deaden as taking out the door panels wasn't too hard...

add another amp? thinking about adding an JL JD400

    Maybe a headunit update?

The amp will help a lot. 16w RMS per channel isn't stunning.
That head unit it pretty limited, with only a 5 band eq and pretty basic time correction. But I would start with the amp and see how you feel.

Do expect to get some pretty harsh highs because you have tweeters on the dash AND down in the doors

would you suggest removing the Kicker Tweeters and put in proper JL Tweeters with a crossover?

If you make a change, you'll want to replace the front doors and the tweeters with a component set. The tweeter down in the door panel is what throws everything off
