Start up and roll, or if sub 10F, start do the scraping and roll. If it is really snow covered I'll remove the snow, then start, then scrap and roll. I work just far enough away that I get up to full temp for the last few miles of 10 miles.

I like to always drive until fully warmed up in the winter, and avoid any little trips that won't achieve that.

some of this, a little of that
I start it up, back out into the driveway and let it sit long enough to buckle my seat belt and adjust the radio. Then I take it easy for the first mile or two, by then the gauge is moving up nicely. :)

The coldest recently was 40~ on the water temp.

I usually wait till the temp reaches at least 100F. You can't just get in, start and go on a cold/colder morning...I mean, don't you got to let the oil warm up a bit and get to all the places it needs to get to also?

You Fornicalians DO realize they are driving Tacos across Antarctica, don't you? When it starts to hit -30F, then start worrying about your engine temps.

I start up and drive within 30 seconds usually. If it's really cold, I just start up and clear the ice from the window, then drive. As stated earlier, you will warm up the motor and other components faster when driving. Just take it easy until the temp gauge starts to move. Excessive idling = bad.

The oil will get to all the places it needs to get to very very quickly after you turn the key. If I lived in an area where I was consistantly starting my truck in -30 F weather, I'd invest in a block heater. But again, the engine oil isn't the only fluid in the truck. The differentials and transmission won't warm up until you start to drive so even if you wait until the engine is up to normal operating temp and just get in and pour the coals to it, everything behind the engine still hasn't had a change to warm up. I typically start up, let it idle while I clear the snow and ice, then get in and drive cautiously for the first few miles to let things get nice and warm.

I let my truck warm up long enough for the nav unit to boot up and load the "Don't be a douchenugget while driving" screen. Once I press the "I promise I won't sue you" button, I roll out. Anywhere from 5-10 seconds.

I shove in the key, twist it as hard as i can, Shove it in 6th, stop on clutch, pin the throttle, dump the clutch, do a brake stand... by then it warms up everything nicely :)

I watch timing drop, hold, then climb up to 20-21 and I know she's good to go. About a minute maybe.

If it's been sitting for a number of hours and I have to pull out onto a busy highway, I'll idle it to at least 100ºF before driving so I can push the throttle a little without worry.

Well I don't go about racing the engine after I start up lol.

I drive slowly anyways the first few miles...this engine takes forever to heat up enough to have a functioning heater in the mornings.

Well this morning was the coldest of the past few week at 48 but, she parks in the garage so it's 70 or so. In any case, (even when it's 110+) I let it idle out of the garage and down the drive which is about 3/8 of a mile long. I'm guessing the oil is well circulated by then and in fact soon after I leave the drive it's putting out heat.
