I quit putting things in the one on the left. It’s the exact same shape and location as the parking brake handle on my wife’s Mercedes. Everytime she drives my truck she rips it out and whatever I had in here goes everywhere.

No world is perfect, even the 3rd gen one.......I use my cubby for park passes to go ride trails and such. Not sure I've even opened it in quite awhile..... (goes to see what useless expired stuff is in it) No need to delete posts and besides, now it looks like I revived the thread, lol...............wouldn't be the first time.

Yeah, expired mtb park passes from 2013 & 2016.....at least 5 yrs since opening that cubby....spiders and moths and dust and shit flew out when opening. Almost as much as a revival as this thread :anonymous: :sorry:

    20220204_135239.jpg

....and I still ride but obviously not at places requiring passes, lol.............oh wait, lemme check the center console and glovebox too o_O

I'm about to put one of those guys in my truck. Was thinking of just mounting it with some Velcro somewhere since it's so damn small haha. Hows the power? Does it get out well?

HA!, It is pretty small, which is one of the reasons I went with it. Power (4 watts) seems to be good with the antenna that I use. My transmissions are received "loud and clear." Very happy with it. Here's the antenna I went with.

I'm now it the market for a set of hand held GMRS radios. Looking at these.

I leave my 2nd ignition key in the cubbie hole and use it to start my truck. I carry the other key on my key ring to unlock the door. My windows are tinted so it would be hard to see the key laying in the cubbie hole. Figured the drawer would keep it out of site.

I keep a stiffer pad in the mini glovebox on the left.
Works great for wiping lint off the dash and instrument panels, while sitting at stoplights.
Phone and mask, pocket knife and mini multitool on the right.

Wouldn't break my heart if someone stole it. Just hope they burn it when they get through with it. Or drive it off in the river.
