We entered the back way into Little River Management area. We came in through the west side of the management area. Take a right onto Oakhill Road from 89 going to Desoto Falls.

That's it. Just go a few miles down Oakhill Road and you'll see a sign for Little River Management Area and then you'll take a left on it. That road will take you through the whole management area. Make sure you ride up road #10, which is probably the most action packed road you'll see on the whole management area!

We had a guy with a 2 wheel drive truck come with us, through the water crossings, up road #10 and all! Once you take that left, you'll see some numbered roads on your right. #10 is worth going up. It was dry as a bone when we went Memorial Day weekend. After the big rains that are projected for us, the trails may be a little slick. A stock truck will do just fine. I have hunted there for the past 10 years and no problems getting around, wet or dry. It's an easy ride really.

What part of Bama you in? There is a Choccolocco ride on June 15th if you want to meet up with us.

I noticed you have an Access Cab too. You want to buy some Predator steps? I'll let them go for cheap!

yeah i was looking at the forecast and was wondering more about the water crossing than anything LOL... i live in Lincoln near the Honda plant..how about you?... i haven't ventured off the beaten path very much around the area and would enjoy going, i'll keep a check on the location and dates and attend when i can.. i was all about the Predator steps when i first got the truck but the ones i have now suit my needs better...i use a work computer mainly so haven't quite figured out how to get a pic to my work email so i can upload it on here, truck looks a little different now than it does in the Avatar.. sometimes i wish mine was a different color but then i remember i can skip 3 months between washes LOL

I'm right down hwy 77 from you in Southside. I used to work in Pell City and I would drive past the Honda plant everyday to get to work. I'd go across the skinny Riverside bridge to get to Pell City.
